And dear friend if you have been around long enough, you have heard and read about the " Exxon Oil Spill " back in 1989 or the " B P Oil Spill " in 2010 among many. And every time this disaster takes place, then our lives are affected, our pockets are also affected and our focus on the news changes. As well, the animals whether in the seas or ground rural areas, always end up dying from this great disaster as well.
For you see dear friend, the oil spill where ever and whenever it takes place, always happen because of human errors, human arrogance and definitely human greed. Because an employee of those giant companies will always end up making a mistake, which will end up creating some kind of ruptures in a compressed pipe line. Also our own human arrogance always makes us believe that we can easily conquer mother nature and make her do whatever we choose to. As well, we have to factor in the human greed, because it seems like the individuals who make up these giant powerful creations always want more and more. And gluttony seems to be our trademark, as we always want more than our fair share of natural resources.
And when a disaster like the oil spill takes place, no one really have any idea of the long term effect of this problem. For example, when the oil spill caused by the company " B P - British Petroleum ", all we could see were the effects it had on the animals instantly. I mean we saw the fishes dying, we saw the birds that got caught up in the oil spill that endep up dying, and we saw how the beaches were so polluted that people were getting sick within weeks. But we do not know what this oil spill is doing to the environment long term, and we do not know what epidemic this disaster will bring on us.

But anytime a disaster arrives in our part of the world, you have to take steps for you not to get caught up in the after effect. Meaning if a there is an oil spill, you know that gasoline is going to go up so, they could recoup all their expenses to clean up the ten percent of it that they can, even though it is their fault.
